Wishing for The Wishing Well

The Wishing Well, also affectionately named "The Well" by local college students, is a laid back restaurant/pub located in Mizner.  The average drink price at The Well is $5, which is why it attracts so many people.  In addition to its fabulous drink specials, it offers great live music at night with talented local bands. 

The inside has high ceilings, and is two stories with a pool table and TV's all around for your viewing pleasure, and the outside contains a covered patio with multiple tables.  This Irish Pub is great for a relaxing night out, or even a few drinks and lunch during the day.  Stop by The Well and have a few beers, and request a few songs while you're at it. Manis, Pedis, Waxing and More for Less

If you're having trouble finding a great place to get your nails and waxing done in Boca without spending $100 then look no further! Artisan Nails has amazing deals for college students.  They offer $25 manicure/pedicures, which is fabulous since most places charge over $25 for a pedicure alone! Also, Artisan has deals like $15 for eyebrow wax and underarms, $30 for bikini, and $40 for arms and legs.

 It is located five minutes from the FAU campus, next to Yokohama Sushi on Palmetto and Federal.  Some more things I love about Artisan Nails, are their super-friendly service, the clean atmosphere, and unlimited nail polish options.  They have both Essie and OPI brands, two of the best in my opinion.

Movie Theatre or Palace?

Cinemark Palace 20 is both! This movie theatre is by far one of the nicest I've ever been to.   It looks and feels like you're in a palace, and is the perfect spot for a relaxing night out.  "The Palace" is always showing the newest movies.

 If you want to splurge a bit, this movie theatre allows you to watch movies like a King or Queen, with their Premier Tickets for $20.  Every dollar is worth it though, because you get balcony level seating in oversized love-seat comfy sofas, and a full bar and restaurant at your service.  Now THAT is what i call going to the movies!

Day Walking on Lincoln Road

If you're feeling spontaneous on a weekend morning or afternoon, grab some friends and head down to South Beach for the day! Yes, I know South Beach is known for its fabulous night life, but it's super fun during the day too! Lincoln Road is an outdoor shopping strip that goes on for miles.

It is filled with amazing shops and restaurants, and is one of my favorite places to "people-watch" (Miami is quite entertaining- not only the activities.. the people, too!) From ice cream parlors to pizza, sushi, and TONS of shopping.  So check it out for a day of fun, and stay for the night if you're up for it! There are plenty of bars and night clubs on the strip.

Boca Town Center Shopping Fun

Who doesn't love the mall?! On a college budget, it's not the best idea to go all the time, but if you're human, you have to! Town Center at Boca Raton is the second largest mall in South Florida, with 220 specialty stores.  Even if you're just going to window shop, this mall is definitely something worth seeing.

 Daydream in Tiffany's and Louis Vuitton, wander about in Bloomie's, or shop at a great price in Forever21.  This mall has both upscale and low scale shops, fitting for everyones needs.  Even the food court has great options! Middle eastern, deli, Italian, and a delicious bakery are just a few of the fabulous options in the food court.   So make your way down to Town Center and enjoy!

Bonkers for Boomers

If you haven't been to Boomers yet, you haven't lived.  This amazing entertainment facility is a great time, every time.  Upon entering this heaven on earth, you will not be prepared for what you're about to experience.  Miniature golf, go karts, bumper boats, bowling, laser tag, a rock wall, kid's playground, and a larger-than-life game room are just a few of the activities Boomers offers.  Also, Boomers will give you 5000 FREE game tickets on your birthday!
